The Peterborough County Cattlemen are asking our members to consider volunteering for a couple of committees that are being established.
As many of you are aware the Peterborough County Cattlemen have 4 sales/year at the Kawartha Lakes Community Sales Barn in Woodville. These sales are held in conjunction with the Victoria Beef Farmers. Wayne Telford has been involved with organizing these sales for over 40 years!!! We all appreciate the time and dedication that Wayne and others have dedicated each year to host these sales, through the good times and not so good times. In order for these sales to continue into the future, we are asking for volunteer(s) to assist Wayne. After the success of the Larry Leahy Memorial Peterborough County Steer Show and Sale, last year at our barbecue, the board has decided to set up a committee to further expand this event.
