Calling all sustainable farmers!

Peterborough GreenUP is leading a pilot project with a focus on local agriculture, called Net Zero Farms. This project is working with local farms and agribusiness’ to track and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions with accuracy and efficiency. Many farms are already taking climate action, and we are here to help them measure their impact, reach their next steps, and receive the recognition they deserve. Pilot participants will share their experiences and successes with each other through various initiatives, and help to craft the future of sustainable farming in our community. Whether you're green-curious or a sustainability expert, we are here to help.

To learn more about Net Zero Farms and find out how you can get involved, please contact Natasha Sheward at natasha.sheward@greenup.on.ca. Sign up required by January 15th, 2024.
